William C. Russell Graveside Rites Set

Graveside services for William C. Russell, 87, of 144 N. Roosevelt will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Old Mission Cemetery. The Rev. Frederick W. Putnam, rector of St. James Episcopal Church will officiate.

Mr. Russell, who died Wednesday at Winfield, Kan., was born May 17, 1875, in Sevierville, Tenn. He came to Wichita 50 years ago from Anthony, Kan. He was a building contractor and also did heavy construction work.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Gray and Mrs. Emory Atherton, Wichita, and Mrs. Howard Nelson, Kansas City; a son, James, Sacramento, Calif.; a half brother, Arthur Kirby, Springfield. Ill.; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.
