Patrolman and later a Chaplain for the Atlanta Police Department. He was founder and past president of the Afro-American Patrolmen's League and a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was a member of the Georgia Association of Pastoral Care, the National Association of Police Chaplains and the Metropolitan Atlanta Christian Council. He died at age 34 from a ruptured appendix.
