FOUNTAIN INN, Feb. 2 -Funeral services for Joel E. Anderson, 84, who died at his home here at an early hour Thursday morning, will be conducted from Mountain Creek church near Taylors Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. J. S. Edwards, assisted by the Rev. M. O. Owings, the Rev. Earl Freeman and the pastor of the Mountain Creek church.

The following are asked to serve as pallbearers: Riley Sammons, Hugh Sammons, Thad Sammons. Sloan Southern, John Locke and Perry Tanner. Mr. Anderson was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Anderson. He was twice married.

The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Joel E. Anderson, Mrs. Walter Smith, Mr. Andrew Monk Anderson. Mr. W. H. Shaw, Mr. P. E. Shaw, Mr. M. L. Shaw, Mrs. N. K. Quade, Mrs. Margaret Sammons, Mr. W. A. Anderson, Mr. H. D. Anderson, the Rev. W. V. Anderson, Mrs. K. J. Wofford, Mrs. Mary Arnold and Miss Brulah Anderson are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services of Mr. Joel E. Anderson at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from Mountain Creek church near Taylors. The Rev. J. S. Edwards assisted by the Rev. M. O. Owings. the Rey. Earl Freeman and the pastor of Mountain Creek church will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. J. A. Cannon and Son, mortician, in charge.
