Actor, Entertainer. He was best known to television viewers as 'Super Dave Osborne', the satirical stuntman that was introduced on The John Byner Comedy Hour in 1972 and was later featured on "Bizarre" and other shows in the 1980s and 1990s. He was also known for his role of 'Marty Funkhouser' on the popular HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" from 2004 to 2017. Born Stewart Robert Einstein, he was the son of comic Harry Einstein and brother of actor Albert Brooks. He got his start in television writing for variety shows such as "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour" in the late 1960s. He earned his first Emmy Award with "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour" in 1969. He went on to earn his second Emmy, writing for the show "Van Dyke and Company" in 1976. He later introduced the character 'Super Dave Osborne' in the early 1970s and played the stuntman for over five decades. Besides playing the character 'Super Dave Osborne' and "Curb Your Enthusiasm", he also appeared on such television series as "Roseanne," "Arrested Development," and "Anger Management" during his career. He also appeared in such films as "Get to Know Your Rabbit" (1972), "Modern Romance" (1981), and "Ocean's Thirteen" (2007).
