Betty Lois Inge Harman, 77, of Princeton died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her residence. Born May 26, 1941 in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Aubrey L. Inge, Sr. and Beatrice Morris Inge. Betty was a 1959 graduate of Princeton High School. She retired after 30 years of service as Chief Deputy of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Tax Department and was a member of the First Christian Church in Princeton. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, traveling and her church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Wayne “Little Brother” Harman; and two brothers, Aubrey L. “Junior” Inge, Jr. and Robert Eugene “Bobby” Inge. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, George T. Harman; two daughters, Georgia “Sis” Bailey and husband Freddy, and Jennifer “Jenny” Hawse and husband Jon; one son, William L. “Bill” Harman and wife Lora; three grandchildren; Kristen McReynolds and husband Steven, Kendra Morris and husband T.J., and Nan’s boy, Zeke Hawse; four great-grandchildren, Addison and Averie McReynolds, and Kolt and Troy Morris. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Reverend Steve Janning officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church in Princeton, P.O. Box 749 Princeton, WV 24740 or to Hospice Compassus, 1330 Mercer St. Princeton, WV 24740.
