ELGIN - Sally Jo Wood, 79, lifelong Elgin resident, passed away on December 31, 2018. She was born on June 21, 1939 in Elgin the daughter of the late Charles and Audrey (Kelly) Goodyear. As a lifelong homemaker, Sally had a very creative flair. She enjoyed making costumes, decorating, entertaining and valued family life and grandchildren above all else, and additionally was an avid Chicago Bears fan. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her two children; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a sister; along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son: Ricky Charles Wood (Perrero); and a brother: Michael Goodyear.
