DURHAM: Donald Hall, 70, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Durham to the late Ralph Ellis and Mary Louise Hall.
Mr. Hall was a 1966 graduate of Durham High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He served as a Combat Medic in Vietnam from 1968-1969 specifically in Cu Chi, Vietnam. He was a part of the 2/27 25th Infantry Division and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Medical Badge. Mr. Hall worked for GTE/Verizon for 38 years and retired in 2009.
Mr. Hall is survived by his son, Jason Brian Hall.
