She was raised by her adoptive parents James & Minnie Blackstock.
Ruby married Douglas Stewart Jr, February 8, 1950. together they raised 5 children.
They shared a love of gardening and fishing.
Ruby will be remembered for her sweet and gentle nature.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Stewart Jr.; her parents; and her sister, Jessie Bujnoch.
Survivors include:
- 3 brothers: Elmer Waldrop, John D. Elliott, and E.W. Graves
- 2 sisters: June Ellenburg and Janie K Richardson
- 5 children & their families: Jack & Deborah Stewart, Gary Stewart & Tammy Martin, Diana & Gary Curry, Sam & Diana Stewart, and Crystal McCall.

A funeral service will be held January 6, 2019 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Chapel in Llano, Texas. Burial to follow at Board Branch Cemetery.
