Lynn Lombardo passed away on November 23, 2018. She was born on August 28, 1938 to Dorothy Earl Barbera and the famous cartoonist Joseph Roland Barbera. She was the first of four children and is survived by her sister Jayne Barbera, her brother Neal Barbera, daughters Kimberly Conte and Gina Lombardo Silano, her grandchildren Danny Conte Jr. , Megan Conte, Amanda Conte, Matthew Silano, Lena Silano, great grandchildren Samantha Jayne Marie Robbins, Logan Conte, Serenity Conte and Destiny Conte.
She was widowed from her husband Louis J. Lombardo in 2002.
She was a telephone operator, and a screen cartoonist, until she Married Lou. She then stayed at home and after his death she volunteered her time at the Motion Picture Hospital in Woodland Hills. She loved bowling, and needlepoint. She loved the Dodgers and was a tremendous fan for many years. She also loved soccer and went to games for all of her grandchildren. She will be missed terribly by her family and friends. There will be a scholarship in her name funded by a family from her granddaughter Lena’s soccer years. She was a strong and beautiful woman who was always there to help her family in their time of need. Known to the Great Grandchildren as the M and M grandma as she would always bring M and M’s whenever she came to see them.
