Services for Mrs. Leroy (Melissa) Ludington, 96, 502 Union, who died Saturday at Porter Memorial hospital, were to have been held at 2 pm today at Bartholomew Funeral home with the Rev. Dean Wisehart officiating.
Burial was to have been in Ludington cemetery.
Born in Porter County on June 5, 1872, she was the daughter of Aaron and Eunice (Dye) Brody. She was married to Leroy Ludington, who preceded her in death in 1951. One son, Leslie, also preceded her in death.
A lifelong Valparaiso resident, she was a member of the Calvary Baptist church.
Surviving are one son, Leroy of Valparaiso, 11 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
