Anna E. Vasco Gunnett, 88, of Lower Paxton Twp., died Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Colonial Park Care Center. She was a retired Secretary for the US Postal Inspection Service, a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School, former Lioness with Lower Paxton Lions Club, loved the Catholic faith, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anna was the daughter of the late Anton and Eleanor Abajieva Vasco and the widow of George W. Gunnett, Sr. She is survived by a son, George W. Gunnett, Jr. of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Eleanor Fabisiak (John) of Westminster, CA; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded by two brothers, Dongie & John Vasco; and a sister, Mary Benkovic.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin J. Coyle, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Steelton.
