Patricia Jo "Pat" Acree

Kingwood, TX - Pat passed away January 2, 2019 in Kingwood, Texas, where she resided, after an extended battle with cancer.

She was born on January 24, 1933 in Seminole, Oklahoma and later moved to Haynesville, Louisiana where she lived for most of her life. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haynesville and the Haynesville Country Club. She was an avid and fearsome bridge player and spent many hours with friends playing cards and enjoying wonderful meals. Pat was a prominent and loved member of the Haynesville Community where she had many treasured friends, some for more than 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Norman Acree and their son, Doug Acree.

Survivors include daughter, Cindy Jackson and husband Charlie of Cleveland, TX, son, Brad Acree of Tyler, Texas, grandchildren, Chelsea Teston and husband Jarett of Denver, Colorado, Jade Jackson of Houston, Texas and Kaitlyn Sissom of Cotton Valley, Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held on January 13, 2019 at 2:00pm at The Watercrest Retirement Center in Kingwood Texas.

A second memorial will be held in the Spring of 2019 in Haynesville, Louisiana at a date to be announced.
