Jo Ann Arnold Hare, 70 of Tuscumbia, died Friday, January 11, 2019. Jo Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the owner and operator of Jody’s Restaurant and a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Marcelline Arnold; son, Jason Mark Kennedy; and great grandson, Carter Stephen Slone.
Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, William Hare; sons, Keith Kennedy (Traci), Greg Kennedy (Shown) and Jonathon Hare (Emily); daughter, Shuree Gomez; brother, Jimmy Arnold (Donna); grandchildren, Courtney M. Queen (Brandon), Ryan Kennedy (Sydney), Sydney Thompson (Josh), Marissa Bush (Derrik), Hunter Kennedy, Hon David Hare, Braden Hare, Michaela Gomez, Noah Gomez and Isaiah Gomez; seven great grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2019 from 11:00-2:00 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with the funeral service immediately following with Bro. Greg Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim McMullins, Shawn Malone, Shane Puckett, Leon Tidwell, Patrick Hall and Johnny Todd. Honorary pallbearers will be the Muscle Shoals Fire Department.
