Rosa E. (Spear)(Hebb) Warner;

Rosa E. Warner, 102, of Howard; died Wednesday, June 1, 1988 at the Twilight Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the past nine years. She was born on July 24, 1885, at St. Clere, Kansas to George and Annie (Walters) Spear. Rosa was their only daughter.

Rosa married Guy Hebb on December 27, 1905 at Moline. To this union were born three sons, Chester V., Lee and Glenn.
Guy precede her in death on November 15, 1930. Also all three of her sons have prcede her in death. She married Ernest Warner in 1937 at Wichita and made their home in Topeka until his death in April 1948. After Ernest's death, she worked as a practical nurse helping with the elderly in their homes.

Survivors include Lee Hebb of Howard, of eight grand children; 11 great- grand children; and four great great- grand children. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and causins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 4, 1988 at 10:30 a.m. at the Moline Cemetery. Ted E. Davis, Pastor of the First Baptist Church at Longton officiated. Watt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
