Frank Mobley Sr. was a WWII veteran of the European campaign. He enlisted in the Army on the 19th of May 1943....and served until the 14th of October 1945. Transported over seas on the Queen Mary, Frank served honorably...and most notably...in France.

The obituary pictured highlights many important details from Frank's life....However, there are a few minor tidbits left unmentioned.....Such as his lifelong love of baseball (He was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan), passion for Dr. Pepper (He REALLY loved that drink), and his fondness for German chocolate cake. Side note: He had a strong dislike for catsup/ketchup...and he HATED pepperoni. Whenever pizza was ordered, he'd say, "Don't put any of that red stuff on there!".

Frank absolutely adored his wife ,Louise, and he doted on her until the day she died. Ultimately, he grieved himself to death, for he never got over her passing.

Strong willed and hard working, Frank Mobley will forever be remembered as a man who loved his Lord and sacrificed much to raise his large family.
