OBITUARY:

Amner Lenore "Abby" Mobley, 87, of Bloomington passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Golden Living Center. Amner was born on March 27, 1927 in Smithville, Indiana the daughter of William Thomas and Flora Jane (Helms) Mobley. Amner graduated from Smithville High School in 1945 and began a career at Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. where she retired after 30 years of service. In retirement she served as a care giver for homebound individuals for many years. She was a wonderful cook and specialized in homemade fudge which she made in abundant quantities for the holidays. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Frank Mobley and sisters Helen Eads, Audrey King, Phyllis Ramon and Norma Joan Mobley who died in infancy.

Survivors include her brother A. Thomas (Cindy) Mobley of Phoenix, Arizona, caregivers niece Brenda (Harold) Fiscus, and nephew Scott Ramon and many other nieces and nephews.

There will be no services or visitation; burial will take place at Valhalla Memory Gardens at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Living Center for their loving care, and especially the hospice nurses from AseraCare Hospice.
