OBITUARY.
A well-known resident of Newton, Maryborough, in the person of Mrs Harriet McGann, passed away rather suddenly, early on Saturday morning. The deceased lady was, born in Brisbane, but had resided in Maryborough the greater part of her life. She is survived by a husband, Mr. John Mc Gann and a family of two sons and three daughters, viz. Messrs Leonard and Patrick McGann (Maryborough), Mesdames J. Foley (Emerald) and S. Armstrong (Nundah, Brisbane) and Miss Meg. McGann (Maryborough). She also leaves three grandchildren. In addition she leaves four sisters, Mesdames A. Ogden (Charleville), E. Sherrington (Townsville), M. Daniells, (Mt. Isa) and A. Lester, (Bundaberg) and one brother James Crane (Murgon). She is survived by her father, Mr. Crane. Her mother predeceased her many years ago, also one brother about 18 years ago and a sister, Mrs, S. Antcliflf, about 18 months ago.
The funeral took place from her late residence on Saturday afternoon and was largely attended.
The Rev. A. Shirley, curate of St. Paul's Church, officiated. The funeral arrangements rangements were carried out by Mr. J. M. Gettons, of 168 AdeIaide Street.
