Born in Pickens he was a son of the late Doyle and Ida Stancil Granger. He retired from McCall’s Used Cars and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Hester Granger; two daughters, Nancy Belcher (Carlos) and Phyllis Moore (Wayne) all of Easley; four sons, Tommy Granger (Charlene) and Billy Granger (Ann) all of Easley, and Wayne Granger (Tammy) and Kenneth Granger (Karen) all of Liberty; also surviving is a granddaughter raised in the home, Leann Granger Camp of Easley; 26 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
