UNION CITY - Barbara Bragg Meek, 76, of Midway, homemaker, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stanley's Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Murphy Funeral Home in Martin has charge. She was founder and member of Martin Pilot Club. Mrs. Meek, the wife of J.R. Meek Jr., also leaves two daughters, Suzanne Powers of Midway and Cindy Earls of Nashville; a son, J.R. 'Russie' Meek III of Ducktown, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
