“Skip” Robert Frank Allen, 67, died Monday June 11, 2018 at his home in Littleton, Colorado. Born December 31, 1950 in Stafford to Elmer and Marjorie Allen. He married Orlena Allen in March 23, 1974. Skip was born and raised in Stafford and a life time resident until he moved to Nebraska for a job in 2012 and then moving to Denver in January 2018 to be closer to his family and doctors. Skip was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in November of 2016 and fought that battle for 18 months. He worked within the grain industry in various roles with a true passion for what he did, was a lifetime member of the Stafford United Methodist Church, a Stafford School board member for 13 years, and Oktoberfest planning member. Skip had a deep love for his family and friends, loved everything to do with music, and visiting Utah and the beach.

He is survived by his Wife: Orlena. Children: Darcie Allen (Michael McCloud) and Teiah Cox (Chris). Grand Children: Emma Cox and Quentin Cox. All of Littleton, CO. Siblings: Carol Porter (Frank) of Cawker City, KS. Mary Hagerman (Ed) of Beaverton, OR. Keith Allen of Stafford, KS. He is proceeded in death by his parents Elmer Harold Allen and Marjorie Allen/Irvine.

Memorial Service will be 10:30 AM on Saturday June 23, 2018 at the Stafford United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be at Stafford Cemetery with a lunch and reception at the VFW in Stafford immediately after the graveside service. Memorials may be sent to the Stafford United Methodist Church in care of Minnis Chapel, Stafford.
