Bill, Sarge, Wi'Em Earl, Son, Brother, Dad, Pap-Paw...was born 18 January 1930 in Richlands, North Carolina to Levi Blizzard and Susie Coston-Blizzard. He was a 1948 graduate from Richlands High School, North Carolina. As a grocery deliverer - Bill pedaled his bike to deliver groceries for extra money before joining the military. He married Betty Thames-Blizzard 24 July 1954 in Niceville, FL. His military service, 1947 to 1974, took him to RAF Weathersfield, England; Kindley Air Force Base, Bermuda (earning a well-talked-about hole-in-one at St. George Golf Course); and Kuan Ju AB, South Korea; finally retiring at Eglin AFB, FL. As a member of Cinco Baptist Church since 11 February 1968 he sang in the choir and was a deacon. Prior to Cinco [1954 - 1968] he was a member and pre-school Sunday school teacher at Ocean City Baptist Church. After retiring from the USAF, he owned and operated Blizzard Paint Contracting.
Burial at Sunset Cemetery, Valparaiso, FL. The service will be officiated by Dr. Mickey Hawkins with special music presented by his niece, Amy Blizzard.
