Martin was the son of Stanley M. and Stella (Holland) Crone and husband of Virginia J. (Acker) Crone. They were married 71 years. He was a 1938 graduate of Allentown (William Allen) High School. He retired as service manager at J.O. Krapf & Sons in 1983 after working there for 35 years, He enjoyed woodworking, was an avid camper and was a founding member of the "Midnight Oilers Club". Marty was a former Field Director of National Campers & Hikers Association. He was also a member of the Fearless Fire Company, Allentown and the Mercantile Club, Emmaus. He was also a former Field Director of National Campers & Hikers Association. He is survived by a daughter Carol (Crone) Miller, Salisbury HS Class of 1966, a son Ronald, Salisbury Class of 1970, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Jeane Rosenberger and Anna Haas; and a brother, Fred Crone. He was predeceased by sisters Virginia Krisko, Althea Grammes and Grace Silliman and by brothers Roy and Richard.
