Elected as National Delegate for Bill Clinton, 7th Congressional District 1st ballot to the 1992 Democratic National Convention in New York. Selected twice as Tennessee's Young Democrat of the Year for the 1992 & 1993 years. Elected as 7th Cong District and 25th Senate District delegate to the Young Democrats of Tennessee 1990-1994. Converted to Republican Party in January 1997.

Born in Nashville, TN 1962. Married to Misha Fuson of Dickson, TN on 5/28/1988. Three children: Peyton Beth (1991), Olivia Brette (1993), and Evan Fuson Lashlee (1998). Later married Joleen Louise Seilhammer 1/1/2021. Step-daughter Joelle Costa (b2000).

Served in the positions of Combat Medic, Finance NCO & Disbursing Agent, Acquisition & Logistics Contracting Officer/Specialist, and Inspector General. Served in the units of the 306th Medical Company (Clearing) with the USAR (1985-1993), 1130th Finance Detachment, 1957th Contingency Contract Team Detachment, and Joint Forces Headquarters Inspector General with the Tennessee Army National Guard (2005-2022).
