Funeral services for James W. Clapper, who died Saturday, were Wednesday at the Bidlingmaier Funeral home with the Rev. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial was in Rienzi cemetery. Organist was Mrs. Watson Waehler.
The American Legion attended in a body. Representing the Legion were Leo Marcoe and T. Esward Sullivan, Color guard; Adam Schalla, color bearer; Andrew F. Johnson and James De Mets, firing squad; Joseph Helz, bugler; and Thomas Cocoran, commander.
Pallbearers were George Dittrich, Herman Popp, Sebastian Friedmann, Eugene Jaber, Charles Wolf, and Arthur Wohlwender.
Out of town persons attended from Milwaukee, Waukesha, Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Kohler, and surrounding area.
