Anita Purdon Davis married to Willard Davis, was the oldest child of William Elgin Purdon (31march1905-28november1980) and Wilda Alberta Watson Purdon ( 25August1910- 13January1984) Preceding her in death were her sisters Beverly Jane Purdon and Shirley Purdon Wabish. Surviving siblings: Mildred Purdon Wood, Raylene Purdon Ballinger, Joyce Purdon Heacock, Dennis Purdon, Sandra Purdon and Allen Purdon.
Anita was born with dysplasia of bilateral hips and endured many surgeries and long-term hospital stays. Which unfortunately did not resolve the medical issue. She was told by doctors that due to her medical condition she couldn't /or probably couldn't bear children. Well, she had 10 children! Her children were: Cynthia Louise Davis Hayes (13april1952- 06october2011), Teri Kaye Davis Cantu ( 11june1953),
