Mrs. Mary Porter, 93, Of Royal Center, Dies; Final Services Sunday
ROYAL CENTER — Final rites for Mrs. Mary B. Porter, 93, will
be at 1:30 Sunday at the Harrison funeral home. The Reverend Clyde R. Walters will officiate and burial will be in the Royal Center
cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday. Her death occurred at 12:05 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's hospital. A native of Jennings county she was born Oct. 27, 1860, daughter of Josiah and Martha Howard Smith. She was a member of the Royal Center EUB church.
Survivors are four daughters: Mrs. Mattie Frushour, Royal Center; Mrs. Alice Grauel, Logansport; Mrs. Lucy Frickel, Hollywood, Fla.; Mrs. Laura Kistler, La Porte; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
