Daughter of David Bartling and Eliza Justice.

Father: David Bartling (age 20, PA). Port of Philadelphia, Seamen's Protection Certificate Application of 1807. Born 1787.

Her mother Eliza and likely father, her husband and two daughters, were previously buried at the Ronaldson Cemetery and re-interred at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Granddaughter of Conrad Bartling #148434268 and Elisa "Mary" Campbell.

Conrad Bartling, who signed the Company Articles in 1785, helped build the first U.S. Mint near Seventh & Arch Streets., two blocks west of the present mint. A skilled carpenter, "measurer" of other men's carpentry and chief inspector of lumber, Bartling spent his last 15 years as the Hall's superintendent. Christlieb Bartling was also an inspector of lumber. Christlieb Bartling #196372335 was a Trustee of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of St. John's Church, vicinity of Philadelphia, in 1808. They are related.

Perhaps her grandfather is Conrad Bartling who has an advertisement:
The Pennsylvania Gazette, 18 Apr 1765: Glue Manufacturer on Front Street, Phila.
This would have him born abt. 1745 or earlier..
