Donald “Don” Ray Riddle, 70, of Apison, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2019.

Don was born on December 24, 1948 to the late Samuel Henry Riddle and Ernie Mae Tankersley Riddle. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Paul Riddle, Dwight Riddle, Marie Brown, Anna Lee Barnette and twin brother, Ronald Lee Riddle.

He was a member of Mercy Baptist Church in Ooltewah. Don worked as an Assistant Unit Operator at Sequoyah Nuclear plant. He was also a Navy Vietnam Veteran.

Don was a Christ follower. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed construction work, guns, hunting, fishing and camping.

Survivors include his loving wife, Tommie Riddle, children, Michael (Kerri) Riddle of West Chicago, Illinois, Joy (David) Van Ornum of Knoxville, Tennessee, Gina (Chris) Reed of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Samantha (Tyler) Mink of Chattanooga, Tennessee, 18 grandchildren, 1 great- grandchild, sister, Martha Barnette of Kissimmee, Florida, brother, James (Billy) Riddle of Kettering Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm., on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the funeral home with Reverend Chris Reed officiating.
