Mary Ruth Coleman Armstrong, 93 of Endwell, passed away peacefully at home on February 1st, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 57 years Eddie, her parents LD and Mary Coleman, brothers Francis (Betty) and Larry (Kate) Coleman, sister Helen (Bill) Lee, son-in-law AJ Barr, grandchildren James Francis Armstrong and Mary Elizabeth Barr. She is survived by her children Mary Kay Barr, Joe (Bernie) Armstrong, Ellen (Dave) Samuelson, Jack (Terri) Armstrong, Ann Brhel, Susan (Robert) Sedlacek, Jim (Laura) Armstrong, Peggy (Gene) George, Charissa (Dennis) Vickery, 42 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and godchildren, many loved Coleman and Armstrong cousins, dear friends Ann Speicher, Mary Barton, Sue Woiccak, Sister Donald Corcoran, and all the members of the Thursday afternoon prayer group, and her many dear friends, too numerous to mention, whom she loved. Mary, a daily communicant, was actively involved in both her church and community. She was an officer of the Third Order of Saint Francis and a member of the Legion of Mary. She was a founding member of Christ the King School and Our Lady of Angels parish. One of her greatest joys was her role in establishing the Our Lady of Angels Perpetual Adoration Chapel and her 20 plus years of coordinating holy hour volunteers.
