ROBINETT, Beverly Joan (Downs) Age 77, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor L. Robinett; parents, Helen and Joseph Downs; brother, John Downs; sister, Vivian Dickson; and sister, Betty Chandler. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carol Robinett and their daughter Leanne of Kettering, Ohio; and her son, Bruce Robinett, of Xenia, Ohio. She is also survived by sisters, Rose Marie Downs of Westerville, Ohio; Lois McBride of Grove City, Ohio; Margaret Merritt of Shelby, Ohio; and brother, Bill and wife Betty Jo Downs of Logan, Ohio. Brothers-in-law, John Dickson of Westerville, Ohio, and Jim Chandler of Largo, Florida; and sister-in-law, Jean Downs of Logan, Ohio; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She graduated from Chauncey Dover High School, Chauncey, Ohio, in 1950, and Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, magna cum laude, in 1971. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 18, at Faith Community United Methodist Church, 100 Country Club Drive, Xenia, Ohio, 45385. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Community United Methodist Church in Joan's memory, or a charity of the donor's choice.
