Ernest E. Beadle, 63, of 1605 Thompson ave., janitor at Wallace school for 17 years until he became bedfast last July, died Friday night at his home.
He had lived in Des Moines 40 years, was a member of the Methodist church and was a Spanish-American war veteran. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the E. Carl White Funeral home, E. Twelfth st. and Grand ave., with burial in Merle Hay memorial park cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann and Blanche of Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Brantingham, Monmouth, Ill.; Rose Beadle, Oskaloosa, Ia.; and Mrs. Myrtle Saeger, Fort Dodge, Ia.; a half-sister, Mrs. Charles McNearney, Beacon, Ia.; a brother, Charles, Des Moines; and four half-brothers, Jay, Wilbur, and Frank Springer, Oskaloosa, Ia., and Earl Springer, Davenport, Ia.
