Lena was born in Coblenz, Germany and was a daughter of Frederick Peter Von Keller and Elizabeth Wendell who are buried to the west (just across the drive) from Lena and her husband James at Fairview Cemetery.

The following two listings of Lena's death are from the same page of a newspaper, likely the Kiowa County Signal;
"Mrs. J. W. Wheeler Died - Mrs. J. W. Wheeler died at her brother's hospital at Ardmore, Okla. Saturday afternoon May 8. She had gone down the week before accompanied by her husband. She died following an operation for a tumor which had been in evidence for about six years but had not been troublesome until a few weeks ago.
She leaves a large family consisting of her husband and eleven children the youngest being 6 years old.
