Rex A. Acton, 62, of Plainfield, passed away January 27, 2019. He was born September 28, 1956 to the late Wayne and Loretta (Taylor) Acton in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1974 graduate of Plainfield High School. He worked as a machine operator for Nice Pak for 10 years. Rex is survived by his wife, Mari K. Acton; a son, Paul Acton; a daughter, Stephanie (Chase) Mattox; two brothers, Ray (Linda) and Ralph (Sara) Acton; 5 sisters, Fay (George) Cheeks, Kay Acton, Gayle (Wayne) Mayo, Jane Mayo, and Jill (Douglas) Albrecht; and two grandchildren, Luke and Leah Mattox. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Acton.
