Sharleen, the daughter of Marlin and Sadie Knuth, was born on June 29th, 1961 in Minot, North Dakota. She grew up in Minot and graduated from Magic City High School.
Sharleen worked various jobs since she started babysitting at just 11 years old. A few of her favorites were Pizza Hut, Grand International, Market Place, and most recently, Trinity Hospital as a shuttle driver.
Sharleen enjoyed the simple things in life and loved being with her family. One of her favorite past times was Bingo and you could always catch her at Bingorama on the weekend. She was loving and caring and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to her loved ones, while at the same time told them exactly how things were whether they liked it or not! Last year she celebrated her birthday with a Tea Party in Washington alongside her cousins Jan, Sharilee, and Bev. Her and her cousins also got a kick out of the Hawaiian men they met at a Luau. Sharleen had an infectious laugh that could make anyone smile. She was an avid churchgoer and was a member of West Minot Church of God.
Surviving family includes: brother-in-law, Richard Bruins, Montana; nephews, Floyd and Dan Bruins; Aunt, Videll Kubler; Niece, Audrey Allen; and a special cousin Lisa Fenner Zaste and family along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sharleen was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Vivan Bruins and Linda Telehey; and several aunts and uncles.
