PROCTOR David D. Myers, 68, of Proctor, died Monday, November 1, 2004, upon arrival at the Rutland Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 23, 1936, in Benson, the son of Seymer D. and Beryle (Bartholomew).
Mr. Myers grew up in Benson, relocated to California for many years returning to Vermont in the 60s. He has been a resident of Proctor for 13 years.
He married Debbie L. Bourn on June 26, 1982. Mr. Myers was employed by J.P. Carrara Company for years and most recently by his longtime friend Gene Stone at the Stoney Crete Foundation Company.
Mr. Myers enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool.
Survivors include his wife of Proctor; his children ,all of California; three stepdaughters, all of Rutland; three sisters, three brothers, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Aldous Funeral Home. Friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
