Mrs. Helen Adams Glover, age 90, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on March 2, 2016, surrounded by her family. A memorial service in her honor will be held at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Decatur, GA on Saturday, March 12, at 2:00 p.m.∼From A. S. Turner & Sons web site:
Mrs. Helen Adams Glover, age 90, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on March 2, 2016, surrounded by her family at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth. She was the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Wiley H. Adams of Dublin, GA along with her four brothers and two sisters. She graduated from Dublin High School and attended GSCW in Milledgeville. Helen and Dixon Maddux Glover, Jr., of Monticello, GA celebrated 54 years of marriage before his death in 2003. They were devout Christians and long-time members of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Decatur. She will be remembered by her kind spirit and joyous laughter. She is survived by her sons, Dixon Glover, III of Chimayo, NM; Robert Glover of Ponte Vedra, FL; Allen Glover of Grayson, GA; her daughter, Callie Spencer of Duluth, GA; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service in her honor will be held at Oak
Grove United Methodist Church in Decatur on Saturday, March 12, at 2:00 pm. Following the service, the family will receive guests in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Oak Grove United Methodist Church or Peachtree Christian Hospice.
