Moved from KY to Hardin Co., Ohio, then to Michigan. He worked in the onion fields of the historic Scioto Marsh in Ohio. Sam was my gg-grandfather. He raised my grandmother. She and my Mom always talked about what a sweet guy he was. I wish I would have known him. He was the exhusband of Ida Risner Brown Marshall.
