Francine (Accardo) Spivey-Coker

Francine Spivey Coker, 66, of Newton, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Beaumont, Texas.

She was born September 19, 1952 in Newton, Texas.

Fran was a master of all trades and never met a stranger. She ran Fran's Liquor Store for many years, ran a cafe and numerous other endeavors, including being "The Avon Lady". She will be missed by many.

Fran was preceded in death by her daughter, Misty Ann Spivey; uncle, Rowe Vinson; grandparents, James and Bertha Vinson; mother, Vivian Vinson; other family, Royjean E. Knighton, Donald Egeberg, Sid and Ada Mae Spivey and Sidney Jim Spivey, Sr.

Survivors include Thomas Knighton and family; Sheila Spivey and family; the Thurman Coker family; cousins, Suzanne Stansbury and Jennifer Mauldin.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Newton, Texas.

Pallbearers included Tommy Daniel, Jerry Mulkey, Jay Wilkerson, Tootie Daniel, Marty Herrington and Mark Spivey. Honorary pallbearer was Sidney Jim Spivey, Jr.

Burial followed at Newton City Cemetery, next to her beloved Misty.
