Ada Elaine Greene, 59, of Chuckey, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at her home.
She is survived by her daughters: Mindy Greene and Holly Tweed of Chuckey; grandson: Kole Garber; 4 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law: Nancy Laws, Sandy and Randy Masters, Susie and Kenneth Lane, Eula and Dwight Edwards; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law: Veck Norton, Richard and Valerie Norton, Larry and Trish Norton, Edna Norton all of Chuckey; special nieces: Anna Shelton; special nephews: Dylan and Dustin Edwards, and Tylyn Shelton; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Vernon Greene; parents: Martin and Opal Norton; 3 brothers: Gary Norton, Terry Norton, and Beach Norton; 4 sisters: Betty Kirkpatrick, Linda Hinkle, Janet Stevenson, and Jone Greene.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 1-3 PM & 5-7 PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow visitation at 7 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Bobby Miller officiating. The graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday in Graceland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Lane, Daniel Shelton, Dwight Edwards, Carrol Laws, Dustin Edwards, and James Justice.
