MRS. LATTIMER, 87, CUMBERLAND, PASSES SATURDAY
Cumberland - Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Lattimer, 87, who died at her home in Cumberland Saturday, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist church, the Rev. O. A. Dillon officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery.
Mrs. Lattimer had been in failing health for nearly two years. Born at Mt. Vernon, Ohio December 2, 1860, the daughter of John and Mary Ann Saylor, she came to Montgombery county with her parents as a girl. She was married to George H. Lattimer and lived for a short time in the Sciola community near Villisca. They moved to Cumberland 62 years ago.
She is survived by a son, John, of Cumberland, and Mrs. Arline Shafer of Atlantic, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband September 28, 1921.
Pallbearers will be O. G. WHitney, O. J. Lucas, Carl Arnold, H. L. Breckenmaker, T. H. Hendershot, and Elmer Edwars. Mrs. T. L. Bond will sing two solos, accompanied by Mrs. J. O. Stahl. The flower committee includes Edna Denham, Mrs. Frank Jarvis, and MRs. L. D. Kemp.
