O'CONNOR, Marion "Betty," of Dade City, Fla., died November 17, 2006. She was born February 13, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Marion Hurley of Cambridge, Mass. She moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in 1976 from Hingham, Mass., and later to Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Fla. She moved to Dade City, Fla. in 1995. She was a homemaker and real estate broker. She was a volunteer at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Mass., and Pasco Regional Medical Center in Dade City, Fla. since 2000.
She was predeceased by her sister, Sally Hurley; and daughter, Betsy Trevino. She is survived by four children, Sarah and James Fitzgerald, Plymouth, Mass., Thomas and Paula O'Connor, Woodland Hills, Calif., Kathleen and Lawrence Beeman, Dade City, Fla., and Austin and Elizabeth O'Connor, Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; one brother, Charles and Dorothea Hurley, Hyannis, Mass.; two sisters, Nancy and Leigh Quinn, Winchester, Mass. and Sarasota, Fla., Ellen and Arthur Murphy, Newport, R.I.; also 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to service time, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
