Born in Carroll County, Aug. 7, 1908, he was the son of Oliver Martin and Ada May Heath Justice. He was married July 10, 1927, to Nellie Bernice Rife, who died in 1969.
A retired self employed carpenter and mechanic, he was a member of the Brethren Church in Burlington.
Survivors include four sons, Charles L., Rt. 4; Robert L., 911 W. Linden Ave.; James M., Rt. 2; and William A., 1321 Canty; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Hess, 1321 Canty; Mrs. Juanita Lee Justice, 1507 Lobelia St.; and Mrs. Birdie Sharp, Gilson, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs Betty Overmyer, Rt. 5; and Mrs. Gladys Flora, Flora; 17 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home, with the Rev. Raymond Skelton officiating. Burial will be in the Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center. (Obit appeared in the Pharos Tribune on 12/19/1975) ( Date of Death was 12/18/1975)
