Marianne Boyd Bokenkamp,age 94, of Venice FL, peacefully passed away on January 6, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Harry Jack Bokenkamp, she is survived by her 3 children, Gary (Bonnie) Bokenkamp, John (Laura) Bokenkamp, and Judy (Bob) Wunderlich. Marianne was the proud Grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren. Born in Cumberland, Iowa, Marianne was a home economics teacher and enjoyed many activities including golf, playing cards, and gathering with family & friends. Over the years, she lived in a number of places including Salerno, Italy, Bridgeport, WV, Champaign, IL, Pittsburgh, PA, Tucson, AZ and Nokomis, FL. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Visitation will start at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 790 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34285. Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Ewing Chapel, Venice, FL.
