Glen Dale Tynes, of Kokomo, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at the age of 70. He was a lifelong resident of Kokomo and was of the Baptist faith. In his retirement, Glen Dale spent countless hours studying genealogy. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who was devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Lucy Holmes Tynes. Glen Dale is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patsy McKenzie Tynes; two sons, Cale Glen Tynes and wife, Amber and Garrett Dale Tynes; three granddaughters, Madison Tynes, Deanna Tynes and Madelyn Tynes and a step granddaughter, Mariah Martin. There will be a visitation for Glen Dale from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Colonial Funeral Home. On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, friends and family may visit at the funeral home until 2:00pm when a procession will leave going to Hurricane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:30pm graveside service. Burial will follow.
