Bedfordshire Mercury - Saturday 30 May 1891, p 8:
The remains of the Dowager Lady Wiseman were removed from Eaton-terrace on Thursday morning, and, from St. Pancras, they were brought by the Midland Railway to Bedford, for interment in the Cemetery beside those of deceased's daughter, Mrs H. McClintock Alexander. Mr J. R. Bennett, Dame Alice-street, had charge of and efficiently carried out all the funeral arrangements, the polished oak coffin being constructed under his instructions by Mr Gell, Howbury-street. The body arrived at Bedford by a mid-day train, and the funeral from the station was timed to be the Cemetery 2 p.m. Mr Bennett's open hand-car bore the coffin, on which was a Latin cross with inscription foot; and this was followed three carriages containing relatives and friends of the deceased (abridged).
