Chumash neophyte Estefana María (no surname) was born at Mission La Purísima Concepción where she was baptized on February 4, 1792 (LPC Baptism 00500). She was the daughter of Chumash neophytes Simón "Tujalit" (no surname) and Anastasia (no surname, LPC Baptism 00037). Estefana died at the mission only two months later and was buried in the mission cemetery (first location) on April 10, 1792 (LPC Death 00062).
