He was born on April 28, 1931 to Elsie and Chester Bales of Rockwood, TN. He attended Oasis Revival Center in Birchwood, TN. He joined the National Guard in 1948 then served in the Korean War from 1949-1953 as a Medical Aidman. He was honored with many medals/ribbons for his service to our country.
He married his love, Frances Bales on November 9, 1970. They had nine children combined. He retired as a professional painter.
He is predeceased by his wife, Frances Bales; father, Chester Bales; mother, Elsie Easter; step-father, Brig Easter and sister, Louise Crabtree along with sons, Michael High, Randy, CN Bales, Gerald Ramsey and daughter, Linda Sue Robinson.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery at 10a.m. on Friday, February 15.
