Hugh K. Wilson, 83, died Monday, January 28, 2019. Visitation will be at First United Methodist Church of Canton on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service. Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.
Hugh was born in Brookhaven, MS on August 2, 1935. He graduated from Bay Springs High School in 1953 and Southern Mississippi College in 1959. He worked for the Corp of Engineers at Vicksburg MS Waterways Experiment Station retiring August 27, 1994. He liked to hunt and fish.
Survivors include: wife Nancy Weems Wilson of Brandon; son, Ty K. Wilson of Canton; daughter Tanya Mitchell (Tim) of Canton; sister, Sylvia Young of Coldspring, TX; and grandchildren, David Wilson, Sophia Wilson, Wiley Wilson, and Zachary Mitchell.
