Jon Ingall Neas, 82, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away peacefully, Saturday, February, 16, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.
Jon was born December 27, 1936 in Kansas City, Kansas to Ingall and Muriel Neas. He is a life long resident of Kansas City and Leavenworth. Jon graduated from Washington High School, and he went on to attend Wentworth Military Academy where he was voted Captain of his company. He is an Army Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 41, and a Free Mason. After returning home he did what he knew, he farmed.
Jon is preceded in death by his father; Dr Ingall Neas, mother; Muriel Petrie, and brother; Paul Neas.
He is survived by his partner in life; Barbara Benge, children from his first wife, Athie Neas: Scott Neas, Darren Neas and Jennifer Allen as well as many cherished grand children and great-grand children.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Jon's name be given to Kansas Palliative and Hospice care, www.kansashc.com.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, February 24, 2019 from noon-4pm at the Neas family farm.
