Jimmie was born November 28, 1947 in Schaller, IA, the son of Raymond "Jake" and Mary (Stevenson) Bloyer. He married Lola Adams on August 16, 1985 in Denison, IA. Jimmie worked as the manager for Tallview Terrace from 1987-2002 and then worked for St. Luke's Hospital and at the Federal Building before retirement.
